Unhappy with the food on offer, the children in ASSET Arrows decided to take matters into their own hands, campaigning to transform the menu in our schools. On Monday 23rd June, they had the exciting experience of an interview with This Morning!
The Suffolk Young Speaker of the Year event is a platform for children and young people to share their view of the world through the art and power of spoken word.
This event was designed and is run by ASSET Alumni - young people who have left ASSET primary schools to go on to secondary school and continue to work with ASSET on community based Youth Social Action.
All of the worthy winners had some important messages to share about what is important to them and we are incredibly proud of two of our children from Bungay Primary School who were a part of this.

We are delighted to announce that we have been accredited as a 'Prem Aware School' - with an average of two to three children in every classroom being born early, it is important to improve awareness and understanding of the lasting effects preterm birth may have on education and learning, while enabling our teachers to have the skills and knowledge to best support children in our school who were born preterm.
